You must be referring to the non-cannon ending cause the "true ending" is the one where Sayori falls down the same rabbit hole Monika did and gets deleted to prevent the same fate from repeating itself, otherwise there'd be zero potential for the upcoming content given how drastically different the two endings are. Unless you count the true ending of the orignial game.
